School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Finlayson, Minnesota

A school-based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for a full semester contract in a K-12 educational setting located in Finlayson, MN. This part-time role supports the Speech Department by assisting with speech therapy services within special education programs across multiple locations including Hinkley, Moose Lake, and Danbury, Minnesota.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Completion of a 2-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in SLPA and/or a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Hearing Sciences
• Current SLPA certification in the state of Minnesota
• Experience working in school settings supporting speech-language pathology services
• Ability to assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists with therapy sessions and documentation
• Familiarity with special education regulations and procedures
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Speech Language Pathologists during individual and group therapy sessions
• Assist with documentation, progress notes, and data collection
• Collaborate with special education staff and classroom teachers to enhance student participation and learning
• Help implement speech and language plans under supervision
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school policies and guidelines

• Finlayson, MN with service areas including Hinkley, Moose Lake, and Danbury, Minnesota school districts
