Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Fort Sill, OK

This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school-based setting located in Fort Sill, OK. This role is ideal for new graduates and experienced professionals passionate about supporting K-12 students through speech and language development services. The position is a contract assignment for the upcoming school year (NSY).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field eligible for SLPA licensure
• Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
• Experience working with children; school-based experience is highly desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Understanding of Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes and educational regulations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments and develop personalized therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy services focusing on speech, language, and related developmental skills
• Collaborate with educators and staff to implement classroom accommodations
• Monitor and document student progress to inform therapy adjustments
• Participate in IEP meetings to establish and support meaningful goals
• Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support ongoing development
