Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Fremont, CA

A contracted Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available to support a K-12 school setting in Fremont, CA, covering a maternity leave from October 20 through June 5. This position involves working across multiple school sites, providing essential speech and language support to students.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech-language assistance under the supervision of certified speech-language pathologists.
• Serving students at two elementary schools, two days per week at each site.
• Providing services at one middle school, one day per week.
• Collaborating with school staff to support student communication goals.
• Maintaining detailed records to monitor student progress.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Valid SLPA certification or eligibility.
• Prior experience working in a school environment, preferably with K-12 students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.

Location:

• Fremont, CA
• Schedule involves 7 hours per day distributed between three school sites throughout the week.
