Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and reimbursement requirements for therapy services.
- Perform clerical duties including detailed record keeping, anecdotal notes, charts, and tracking student progress data.
- Assist speech-language pathologists in preparing therapy materials and ensuring therapy equipment is properly maintained.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings or planning sessions when appropriate.
- Support informal documentation and data collection to monitor and enhance program quality.
- Bilingual candidates are highly preferred to support a diverse student population.
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLPA license.
- Experience working within a K-12 school environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families.
- Bilingual skills are a significant advantage.
