Speech Pathology Assistant - Hondo, TX

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support an elementary school setting. This role offers a contract opportunity for the current school year (CSY) and requires a dedicated professional to work closely with students requiring speech and language assistance.

Caseload: Elementary level

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing speech and language therapy plans designed for elementary-aged students
• Support students in small groups or one-on-one settings to improve communication skills
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy activities
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote student success
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification or licensure
• Minimum of one year experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to work effectively with elementary school students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to supporting student growth and development
