A temporary Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting. This full-time contract position is ideal for professionals with experience in educational environments, covering a maternity leave from mid-January until the end of the school year. The role requires delivering speech and language support aligned with individual student needs in the Perris/Moreno Valley/Menifee area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing treatment plans for students.
  • Provide direct speech and language interventions under supervision within a school setting.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support students’ communication goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification.
  • Experience working with children in educational environments preferred.
  • Understanding of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location:

  • Based primarily in the Perris/Moreno Valley/Menifee area of Southern California.
  • Position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
