An opportunity is available for a dedicated Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students. This position is based in Jacksonville, FL, and focuses on providing essential services to school-age children from grades K-12.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLPA license
- Previous experience in a school setting
- ASHA certification is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Provide both direct and indirect services as required
