Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist by start date
- Previous experience working in schools and/or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive special education department
Location:
Lake Charles, LA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Maintain manageable caseloads to ensure quality service delivery
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
