Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Current SLPA certification or licensure
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in secondary settings
  • Strong understanding of various disabilities, including CD, OHI, and SLD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Location:

  • Lacey, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students as outlined in their individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to facilitate student learning and communication
  • Monitor and document student progress, particularly for those with significant needs
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Support students during transitions and help them navigate their educational challenges

This position is set to start ASAP and run through approximately June 17th, with a caseload of 33 students at the middle school and 15 at the high school.
