Located in Lincoln, CA, this contract opportunity within a K-12 school setting is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants dedicated to supporting children’s communication development. The role involves delivering high-quality speech and language services throughout the academic school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide therapy sessions focused on achieving defined speech and language goals
- Monitor and maintain detailed documentation of each student’s progress
- Collaborate effectively with educators, counselors, and other multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care
- Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team environment
Licensure Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California is required
- A Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory
