This full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity supports students across K-12 settings, with a focus on both middle and elementary schools. The position begins immediately and is contracted for a full semester. The role provides essential speech and language support, contributing to the academic success and communication development of approximately 70 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.
- Manage a caseload of around 70 students, ensuring individualized and effective interventions.
- Provide services three days per week at the middle school level and two days per week at the elementary school level.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in school or healthcare settings preferred.
- Knowledge of speech and language development in K-12 students.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.
