This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school setting located in North San Juan, CA. This is a contract role for the current school year (CSY).
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
- Providing targeted therapy sessions to address individual speech and language goals
- Monitoring and carefully documenting student progress
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Engaging and educating families throughout the therapy process
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
To qualify, candidates must have an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California and possess or be in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
