An exceptional opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students in a dynamic school environment. This contract position offers a meaningful role assisting with English and Spanish language assessments while alleviating caseload overflow from the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Schedule: 30 hours per week, full-time
Duration: ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting speech and language assessments in both English and Spanish to support diverse student needs
  • Implement individualized therapy plans under the supervision of the SLP
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and staff to promote effective communication strategies
  • Help manage workload by alleviating overflow cases, ensuring comprehensive student support

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA credential or certification
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish language assessments
