A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school located in Oakland, CA. This contract role requires candidates with prior experience working in school settings and the ability to manage a varied caseload throughout the full academic year.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in delivering speech therapy services to students
• Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for assigned students
• Collaborate with educators and other school staff to support student communication goals
• Manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels, adapting approaches as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA certification or licensure
• Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
