A comprehensive opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students with speech and language needs at a school in Oroville, CA. This contract position for the current school year (CSY) offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students presenting speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Administer therapy sessions focusing on speech and language skill improvement
  • Track, document, and evaluate student progress meticulously
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and other specialists, to coordinate care
  • Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapeutic process

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the state licensing board
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and family engagement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements:

  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California
  • Possession or pursuit of a Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
