Opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in Oroville, CA. This contract position for the current school year involves delivering specialized speech and language services designed to address the unique needs of children and adolescents. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving communication outcomes for students in a collaborative educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs
- Facilitate therapy sessions focused on achieving outlined speech and language goals
- Track and document student progress meticulously to guide ongoing treatment
- Work closely with multidisciplinary school teams to coordinate care and share insights
- Involve families in the therapeutic process, providing guidance and education to support student success
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Additional Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
