A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' communication skills within a structured, semester-long assignment.

Location: Based in Richmond, VA, the SLPA will work across two educational environments to provide comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 70 students.
  • Provide services three days per week at a middle school and two days per week at an elementary school.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to assist in developing communication goals and progress monitoring.
  • Prepare and maintain clear documentation and records in compliance with guidelines.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Experience working in both healthcare and school settings desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a large caseload effectively.
  • Ability to engage and support children across various age groups.
