A Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant is needed for a contract position in the North Sacramento area, specifically Elk Grove, CA. This role involves providing essential support to speech-language pathologists in a K-12 school setting, engaging with students from various grade levels to facilitate their communication development.
Qualifications:
- Current California SLPA license or certification
- Bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or related field
- Experience working with children, especially in educational settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement therapeutic strategies as directed by a supervising SLP
- Familiarity with data collection and documentation processes in therapy
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to students
- Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities as guided by the SLP
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of sessions
- Collaborate with educators and other staff to support students’ communication needs
