School-Based Speech Pathology Assistant | Houston, Texas

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Previous experience working with K-12 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Knowledge of current educational practices and regulations related to speech and language therapy

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of speech and language therapy services as directed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Conduct assessments and document student progress
• Develop and implement individual student plans tailored to their communication goals
• Collaborate with educators and other staff to support students' needs
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs
