Qualifications:

  • Active Florida SLPA license
  • Previous experience in a school setting
  • ASHA certification is a plus, although not mandatory
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other healthcare professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to students as directed by supervising Speech Language Pathologists
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teaching staff
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and document services provided
  • Collaborate with educators to support students' communication needs
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all state and school regulations regarding service delivery
