Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLPA license
- Previous experience in a school setting
- ASHA certification is a plus, although not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students as directed by supervising Speech Language Pathologists
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teaching staff
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and document services provided
- Collaborate with educators to support students' communication needs
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all state and school regulations regarding service delivery
