An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support an elementary school setting in San Antonio, TX. This full-time, contract position offers a comprehensive caseload focused on elementary-aged students for the current school year (CSY). The role requires a dedicated professional with a minimum of one year of experience working as an SLPA in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing individualized therapy plans for students.
- Provide direct speech and language services to elementary students under supervision.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and team members to support student communication goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA credential or license.
- At least one year of experience working as an SLPA in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
