Exciting opportunity available for a motivated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a K-12 district near San Francisco, CA. This full-time, contract position runs ASAP through the end of the school year, with potential for extended school year (ESY) coverage.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Valid SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in California
- Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Assistant program
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptability and a collaborative mindset
- Experience in school settings is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude toward working with diverse student populations
- Ability to follow treatment plans and assist supervising SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students with communication challenges
- Conduct screenings, assist with assessments, and gather data for progress monitoring
- Prepare materials, document student performance, and maintain records
- Communicate effectively with staff and families, supporting student progress
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and training sessions as needed
