A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a K-12 educational setting in San Jose, CA. This full-time contract position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Support small group and individual therapy sessions under the supervision of licensed professionals
- Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure integration of speech goals within the classroom environment
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
