Location: Santa Clara, CA
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students overcome communication challenges, possess strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, and be committed to fostering a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for diverse communication needs.
- Provide SLPA services in accordance with IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Speech Language Language Assistant (SLPA) License.
