Speech Pathology Assistant - Taft, CA

This role is set in an engaging elementary school environment, focusing on supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade. The position runs for the full school year, with the potential for part-time arrangements depending on district needs.

Qualifications:

• Active or pending California SLPA license
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in SLP or Communication Disorders
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not mandatory
• Familiarity with IEPs and ability to implement treatment plans
• ASHA certification is a plus, although not required

Location: Taft, CA

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language treatment to students
• Collaborate with educators and parents to support student needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required
• Work closely with a diverse student population, adapting strategies to individual needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' overall development
