An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year. This position offers a contract role within a K-12 educational setting, working closely with an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to a full K-12 caseload, implementing evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with the onsite SLP to ensure continuity of care and appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Complete thorough documentation, including progress notes, session plans, and student reports
- Participate in team meetings and communicate progress with educators and parents as needed
- Adhere to school policies and confidentiality standards while supporting individual student needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably across K-12 grade levels
- Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently and maintain detailed, accurate documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within an educational team
- Knowledge of speech and language therapy techniques appropriate for diverse student populations
