A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Sunnyvale, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collect and document data on student progress to inform therapy adjustments and reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote communication development and generalization of skills
- Follow all applicable confidentiality guidelines and professional standards within the school setting
Qualifications:
- Current certification or qualification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with school-age children in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with school-based speech therapy practices and educational protocols
