Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Manderson, WY

Located in Manderson, WY, this position offers an opportunity to support students in a K-12 educational setting. The role is designed for the upcoming school year and runs on a contract basis, allowing for a focused and impactful engagement with students.

Qualifications:

• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or another recognized credentialing organization preferred.
• Previous experience working as an SLPA in school or healthcare settings.
• Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under supervision, focusing on students’ communication needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with educational staff to support students in the classroom.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student development.
