Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services in alignment with individual student IEPs.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with staff, students, and parents, particularly during high-stress and crisis situations.
  • Collaborate with educational teams to support student needs and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Travel between school buildings as required, ensuring flexibility to meet diverse student demands.
  • Document and report on student progress and service delivery as per school regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications or an Associate’s degree from an SLPA program.
  • Active SLPA certification.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience working in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
