Position Overview:

Soliant Health is seeking a motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will provide in-person speech services to approximately 55 students on their caseload, supporting the treatment plans created by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs). The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students achieve their communication goals and be committed to delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person speech services for all students on caseload (~55 students).
• Track data and maintain session notes for all students serviced.
• Monitor progress for all students on the caseload.
• Communicate with teachers regarding schedule, changes, and other relevant information.
• Create activities and therapy plans for students based on IEP goals and treatment plans created by the SLP.

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field
• Current SLPA license or certification in the state of CA
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
• Excellent organizational and data tracking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with SLPs, teachers, and other educational staff
