A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support elementary school students in Vista, CA for the upcoming contract school year (CSY). This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic learning environment across two school locations, working closely with onsite SLPAs under district supervision.
Responsibilities include assisting licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services, supporting students' communication development, and contributing to the implementation of individualized treatment plans. You will collaborate with the school team to ensure the highest quality of care and student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of one full school year of SLPA experience, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of speech-language pathology techniques and educational therapy support
- Ability to work effectively within a team and under supervision
- Commitment to supporting elementary-aged students’ communication goals
