A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide expert services in a K-12 school setting in Yuba City, CA. This contract assignment spans the current school year (CSY) and focuses on supporting students with diverse speech and language needs through comprehensive evaluations and tailored therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed assessments for students experiencing speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
  • Facilitate speech and language therapy sessions to address identified needs
  • Monitor, track, and document progress meticulously to inform ongoing care
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and other professionals for holistic student support
  • Engage families in the therapeutic process to enhance outcomes and understanding

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
  • Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

To be considered:

  • Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
  • Must have completed or be in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
