An opportunity is available for professionals with specialized skills in supporting students with communication challenges. This role is focused within an elementary school setting in Wellton, AZ, and aims to deliver essential services to enhance student learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications or an Associate's degree from a SLPA program
- Active SLPA certification
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, especially in high-stress and crisis situations
- Ability to travel between school buildings as required
- Experience providing services in accordance with IEPs
Location:
- Wellton, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to support student needs
- Maintain documentation and progress reports as mandated by the school
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support
- Ensure compliance with all state and district regulations regarding services
