Assignment: Contract leave coverage, starting ASAP through the end of the school year
Grade Levels: Elementary
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to students in elementary grades, addressing individual and group needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
- Conduct assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral challenges impacting student success
- Assist in crisis intervention and support student mental health and well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student needs and resources
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional standards and school policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement required
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage multiple sites and adapt to different school environments efficiently
