School-Based Social Worker | Lansing, Michigan

A full-time School Social Worker position is available in Haslett, MI, serving K-12 students within a school setting. This contract role begins ASAP and continues through June 5, 2026, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives across diverse age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and counseling to K-12 students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Conduct assessments and facilitate access to community resources and services.
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district guidelines.
• Promote a positive school climate by advocating for student needs and contributing to school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current LMSW license issued by LARA.
• Full Approval or Professional Certification as a School Social Worker through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) is required.
• No Limited License or Provisional Social Work licenses accepted.
• Ability to work onsite is mandatory.
