Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- Valid Kansas License to Practice
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- Experience with behavioral interventions and support plans
Location: Clay Center, KS
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect social work services as outlined in IEPs, tailored to individual or group needs.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments for evaluations and re-evaluations, including record reviews and classroom observations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to make placement decisions and develop intervention plans.
- Assist in completing the social/emotional sections of IEPs and provide progress updates as required.
- Implement behavioral strategies and support plans to promote positive student outcomes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
