This opportunity seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized support within a K-12 special needs school setting. Located in Manayunk, PA, this full-time contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with availability required for extended school year (ESY) services.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting behavior assessments and developing individualized intervention plans for students with emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities
- Collaborating with educators, social workers, and support staff to implement behavior programs
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as needed to promote positive outcomes
- Providing training and guidance to staff on behavior management techniques
- Maintaining clear and thorough documentation consistent with regulatory and school standards
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Experience working in a school or special education environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and data analysis skills
- Flexibility to support both full-time and potential part-time schedules
