Social Worker in Saginaw, MI

We are seeking two full-time Social Workers to provide comprehensive support to students in a K-12 educational setting in Saginaw, MI. These contract roles involve working with diverse student populations across different environments—a rural Pk-12 school and an urban middle school—offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in varied school communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to support student well-being.
• Facilitate counseling sessions and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant laws and policies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Social Worker with experience in school social work preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and K-12 educational environments.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, including rural and urban communities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with intervention strategies and crisis management.

Location:

• One position in a rural Pk-12 school.
• One position in an urban middle school.
• Both located in Saginaw, MI.

Contract Details:

• Full-time positions.
