School Social Worker - Saint Joseph, MN

A school-based social worker opportunity is available in Saint Joseph, MN, serving K-12 students throughout the academic year on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing critical support services to students, helping them navigate personal, social, and academic challenges to promote overall well-being and success in school.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual and group counseling sessions addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention plans
• Assessing students’ needs and connecting families with community resources and support networks
• Advocating for students’ mental health and educational rights within the school environment
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support comprehensive student care
