A social worker opportunity is available at an elementary school serving students in grades 1-5. This position supports the general population and is focused on providing comprehensive social work services in a school setting.

Position Details:

• Duration: Current through March 18, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver crisis intervention and support to students
• Conduct Tier 1 classroom lessons promoting social-emotional learning
• Facilitate social work groups and individual counseling sessions
• Document and track IEP minutes and goals related to social work services
• Conduct evaluations to assess student needs and eligibility for services
• Collaborate with families and community resources to support student well-being

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience working as a social worker in school environments preferred
• Comfort working with elementary-aged children and their families
• Strong skills in crisis intervention and individual/facilitated group counseling
• Ability to manage IEP documentation and goal monitoring effectively
• Collaborative approach to community outreach and multi-disciplinary teamwork
