School-Based Social Worker - Waukegan, Illinois

A temporary Social Worker position is available to support elementary school students in grades 1-5. This contract role runs from now through March 18, 2026, and offers part-time hours from 7:20 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. The position is based in Waukegan, IL, serving the general student population at an elementary school.

Key responsibilities include providing crisis intervention, delivering Tier 1 classroom lessons, facilitating social work groups, and conducting individual counseling sessions. The Social Worker will also track IEP minutes and goals, perform community outreach, and conduct evaluations for additional services to support student success.
