This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher serving students aged 5 to 22 in a K-12 educational setting. The assignment is a contract position for the current school year, requiring full-time availability (40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general educators, therapists, and families.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure in Special Education.
- Experience working with students ages 5-22.
