An excellent contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher with expertise in Emotional Behavior Disorders. This position runs from March 9, 2026, through June 5, 2026, and is based onsite for the duration of the assignment.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized and group instruction to students with emotional and behavioral needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborating closely with general education teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement effective IEPs.
- Monitoring student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed, and maintaining thorough documentation.
- Participating actively in meetings, professional development, and related school activities to best support students’ academic and social-emotional growth.
Candidates should bring the following qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required).
- Experience working with students in a middle school setting, particularly those identified with Emotional Behavior Disorders.
- Strong ability to foster relationships with students, staff, and families, with a commitment to providing equitable, compassionate support.
- Current resume and MN Special Education Teacher Certification must be attached for consideration.
