Special Education Teacher - Arvada, CO

A Full-Time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025/2026 school year at a high school in Arvada, CO. This contract role focuses on supporting students in moderate to severe special education classrooms. The position also includes case management responsibilities, requiring strong organizational skills and familiarity with Colorado special education regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the case manager for assigned students, maintaining detailed and accurate paperwork.
• Deliver direct instruction and support to students within the special education classroom setting.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities.
• Ensure compliance with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in Colorado special education classrooms required.
