The role involves working in a co-taught classroom alongside a teaching assistant and a general education teacher, delivering tailored support to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction within a co-taught 4th/5th-grade classroom.
- Collaborate closely with the teaching assistant and general education teacher to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with state standards.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL).
