This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to support middle and high school students in a co-teaching environment. The role is a full-time, FMLA contract position designed to provide continuity and specialized support in the classroom.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborating with general education teachers to facilitate inclusive classroom practices
- Supporting student progress through individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Special Education License (LBS1) required
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with co-teachers and support staff
