Special Ed Teacher - Aurora, Illinois

This full-time position is for a Special Education Teacher working with PreK-5th grade students in a K-12 school setting. The role is based in Aurora, IL and follows a contract lasting the school year (CSY). It offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational experience of young learners with special needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Special Education License required
• LBS1 license necessary
• Experience teaching special education students in grades PreK through 5 preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
• Provide specialized instruction adapting to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress in accordance with state and federal guidelines
