Special Ed Teacher | Bellefonte, Pennsylvania

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a middle school specializing in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) in Bellefonte, PA. This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students diagnosed with EBD.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure academic and social growth.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and school personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with middle school students, preferably with EBD.
• Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learners’ needs.
