This full-time position is for an experienced Resource Specialist (RSP) teacher serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. The role requires managing a case load of up to 23 students, with the flexibility to work both in general education settings and pull-out environments. The ideal candidate will bring practical experience in RSP case management, able to independently manage responsibilities with minimal training, as support for new teachers is currently limited.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a case load of up to 23 students, including 4 pending cases spanning K-8 grade levels
  • Provide targeted support as an RSP teacher in both general education classrooms and pull-out sessions
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive, individualized learning plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all educational regulations and requirements
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Active mild/moderate California teaching credential required
  • Proven experience as a Resource Specialist teacher with case management duties
  • Ability to independently manage cases and work effectively in multiple instructional settings
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
