An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in an inclusive classroom setting in Boston, MA. This contract position spans a full semester, starting immediately and ending December 23, 2025. The role requires onsite presence at an elementary school with a caseload of approximately 14-15 inclusion students.

Work Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time, 32.5 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Onsite at an elementary school in Boston, MA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for inclusion students
  • Collaborate with general education staff to support student success
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Maintain communication with families and caregivers
  • Participate in team meetings and comply with school policies

Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts teaching license or certification in Special Education
  • Prior experience working in a school-based setting
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 14-15 students effectively
  • CORI background check and fingerprinting required (letter of suitability may be accepted)
  • Spanish-speaking preferred but not mandatory
